Tired of Tires update

18 October 2007, 15:17

I’ve been working away on my FW/07 Collection in every spare moment, but for the last week, my spare moments have been drastically reduced by boat duties. So rather than the glamorous woman you’ve come to know from this site, for the last week I’ve been looking more like this:

But, in amongst all that, I managed to finish my pinstripe wide legged trousers and cut out the matching vest/waistcoat, which I began sewing in the 20 minutes I had free between breakfast and leaving for work this morning. I’ll get photos up when they’re both finished, as they’re a bit of an ensemble…

And the other exciting thing is, I’ll be showing the trousers and waistcoat (alongside a bunch of my other creations) as part of a new evening showcasing fresh music and fashion on 28 October! I was approached by La Geneve North (who are running the show in conjunction with Fat Talent) if I was interested in getting some of my designs up on the catwalk (with models and makeup people and everything!), and I’m very excited to be taking part!

So if you live near London and fancy a great night out with live music and new designers, it’s at The Inn On The Green near Westbourne Grove (map), on Sunday 28 October at 18:30. Tickets are £5 and can be bought in advance by emailing latifah@lagenevenorth.co.uk or bought on the door. And if you do come along, please stop me and say hi, and I’ll give you some of my fantastic new Fehr Trade Moo cards that arrived today!
