In the swing of things
15 August 2007, 21:09A day after I landed in America for the start of my holiday, I got an email from the New York Times asking if they could interview and photograph me for an article on Ikea Hacks. I gave a phone interview whilst in Pennsylvania, but the photographer didn’t catch up to me until today.
She took about two hundred photos, some of which should appear in the Sept 6 issue of the New York Times, so keep an eye out for me and my soon-to-be-famouser Glastonbury dress!
(The dress stands up admirably to a drink from the firehose!)

I love the dress and the shoes! The piping is awesome too. I can’t work up the nerve to work with piping.
I reuse Ikea fabrics all the time. I am in the process of making a dress out of a duvet cover.
